“My beekeeping journey began working summers for Bill, Rosemary and Matt Ferguson at Ferguson Apiaries outside Hensall, Ontario. Under their mentorship, I quickly mastered the essentials of colony management, honey production, queen breeding, and the importance of diligent record-keeping. In 2014, I purchased my first hives, setting them up at the edge of the bush on my parents’ dairy farm. Today, Neeb’s Bees has grown to three beeyards across Southern Huron County. We are a true family operation; working alongside my parents, wife, and son, we spend the spring, summer, and fall breeding high-quality bees and extracting pure local honey.”
